FULBRIGHT STUDENT PROGRAM Fulbright Student Program is administered by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Embassy of the United States of America. It is implemented in accordance with the State Program - "Study Abroad for Youth for 2007-2015" - confirmed by the President of Azerbaijan's decree # 2090, dated April 16, 2007. This program is designed to provide opportunities for Azerbaijani youth to continue their education via master's degree studies in U.S. universities. Fellowships are awarded competitively to candidates who best demonstrate a commitment to service in public and/or private sectors.

Eligibility requirement for Fulbright Student Program are the following:
  • Azerbaijani citizenship
  • University degree (at least 70 points for technical fields and 80 points for other fields within student admission tests to masters level of the country's higher education institutions for academic years 2007 - 2008 and 2008 - 2009, as well as people that have obtained bachelor's degree and completed professional programs - at least 4.5 points or equivalent - in previous years)
  • English language proficiency (minimum of 550 paper-based TOEFL score)
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and potential for advancement in his/her profession
  • Under 35 years of age

  • Aviation
  • Transportation/Logistics
  • Construction
  • Science
  • Education
  • Culture
  • Law
  • Service (Tourism and Hospitality Management)
  • Economics and Management
    • Social Sciences
